White Dwarf #127
I'm a big fan of Wood Elves / Sylvaneth, so I really couldn't wait for the return of Alarielle the Everqueen! On this occasion, I wrote a review of White Dwarf #127 and of all new Sylvaneth miniatures.
I also invite you to watch my wet palette tutorial, which was presented on TFH blog 100 posts ago.

New Releases / Nowe wydania

Sylvaneth Alarielle the Everqueen

White Dwarf #127 is almost entirely devoted to the new Age of Sigmar miniatures for Sylvaneth army.
The first of these is of course Alarielle the Everqueen, which looks phenomenal! She is large, highly detailed and very dynamic. Unfortunately, this model stands out not only with its appearance, but also with a high price. Alarielle alone gives me mixed feelings, because she seems too big and too muscled for an elf. Seeing her makes me think of "the first Sigmarine woman" and if not for the wings and the Wardroth Beetle, I would mistake her for a Tomb Kings of Khemri miniature. As for the Beetle - absolutely amazing! Surely, it's one of the most beautiful models I've ever seen! It is also noteworthy that the paint job is truly spectacular and there are some really beautiful pictures inside =)

127 wydanie White Dwarfa niemal w całości poświęcone jest nowym figurkom Age of Sigmar do armii Sylvaneth.

Sylvaneth Branchwych
Sylvaneth Drycha Hamadreth
Branchwych model is basically a Dryad model  and in that regard I give it a big plus (here you can find my Branchwraith). Unfortunately, that bug on its back spoils the whole miniature.. Drycha Hamadreth look like a Dreadnoght or some other walker with an extremely ugly pilot in the middle. I only really like those bugs colonies bursting like from honeycombs.

Sylvaneth Kurnoth Hunters
Sylvaneth Kurnoth Hunter with Dryad

Kurnoth Hunters are a completely different story - they are miniature Treemen, which are probably going to replace old Tree Kin. You can arm them with swords, scythes or greatbows. I think that they will require a few conversions so they won't  look like trees dressed in armor. Interestingly, Games Workshop borrowed my Dryads color scheme to compare those miniatures sizes =P

Sylvaneth Tree-Revenants
Sylvaneth Spite-Revenants
Tree-Revenants and Spite-Revenants miniatures are quite similar to each other. However, while the Tree-Revenants, which are the missing link between trees and elves (they remind me of Dark Eldar Mandrakes), present themselves quite well, Spite-Revenants with their ghastly faces doesn't fit my Wood Elves concept at all. But maybe that's just my longing for Oldhammer?

Battletome Sylvaneth
Realmgate Wars: All-Gates
There are also some other new releases in White Dwarf #127: Warhammer Age of Sigmar The Realmgate Wars: All-Gates (the fourth and final instalment of the Realmgate Wars saga), Order Battletome Sylvaneth (special Sylvaneth army rules), How to Paint Sylvaneth, a collection of novels Legends of the Age of Sigmar: Sylvaneth, a piece of terrain (a tower) Dreadhold Crucible and Sylvaneth dice (in salmon color..)
W White Dwarfie #127 znalazły się jeszcze inne nowości: Warhammer Age of Sigmar The Realmgate Wars: All-Gates (czwarta i ostatnia książka z serii Realmgate Wars), Order Battletome Sylvaneth (zawierający specjalne zasady dla armii Sylvaneth), poradnik malowania How to Paint Sylvaneth, zbiór opowieści Legends of the Age of Sigmar: Sylvaneth, kawałek terenu (wieża) Dreadhold Crucible oraz kości do gry Sylvaneth (w kolorze łososiowym..).

Paint Splatter / Rozpryski farby

White Dward #127 Paint Splatter
White Dwarf #127 contains detailed painting tutorial for a Tree-Revenant from the Oakenbrow Clan. There is a cool ethereal skin job you can use on various other models.

127 wydanie White Dwarfa zawiera szczegółowy poradnik malowania Tree-Revenant z Klanu Oakenbrow. Znajduje się tam fajny poradnik malowania eterycznej skóry, który można wykorzystać do malowania innych figurek.

Hall of Fame / Galeria Sławy

White Dward #127 Hall of Fame
Here is just a short Matt Holland's (the main designer) story of how he has created the Tau Riptide.

Warscrolls / Bitewne zwoje

In this section you will find Age of Sigmar warscrolls for every new Sylvaneth model.
Znajdziecie tu zwoje bitewne Age of Sigmar do każdej nowej figurki Sylvaneth.

Regiments of Renown

There is also (as usual) a picture of the Imperial Knight, in this case in the form of the Knight Errant from House Taranis.

Probably due to savings and the lack of space, the announcement of the next White Dwarf issue was limited to just mentioning that it will contain Heresy, Betrayal and a Summer Campaign.

Summary / Podsumowanie

White Dward #127
White Dwarf #127 is almost entirely devoted to the Age of Sigmar and new Sylvaneth releases. The most important of them is fantastic Alarielle the Everqueen riding on a Wardroth Beetle. The price for her is very high, but I think that all of Wood Elves / Sylvaneth fans will buy her anyway =) Other miniatures are not as good in my opinion, maybe with the exception of Kurnoth Hunters. This White Dwarf issue is quite nice, with beautiful Alarielle riding on the Wardroth Beetle art and a lot of good pictures. As for the text, there is not much more that can be found on Games Workshop site. My rating (solely because of Alarielle): 4.
What do you think of new Sylvaneth miniatures?

White Dwarf #127 jest niemal w całości poświęcony Age of Sigmar i nowościom do armii Sylvaneth.
