Armies on Parade 2015 Tutorial: Wood Elves display Poradnik: Makieta Leśnych Elfów

As a base I've used a clip frame, replacing the glass with a lightweight wooden board and a thick cork on top of it. 

Jako podstawy użyłem antyramy, w której szkło zastąpiłem lekką drewnianą deską i grubym korkiem na wierzchu. 

There's nothing like a good plan =) I've made the tree on the picture back in 2012.

Nie ma to jak dobry plan =) Drzewo na zdjęciu zrobiłem w 2012 r.

I've cut a hole for the lake and glued a round piece of plastic document sleeve under the cork. 

Wyciąłem dziurę pod jezioro i przykleiłem pod korkiem okrągły kawałek plastikowej koszulki na dokumenty. 

 

I've used a self-hardening clay to do the uneven bottom of the lake. 
Do zrobienia nierównego dna jeziora użyłem gliny samoutwardzalnej.

I really had a lot of work with styrofoam.. I think that with styrodur it would be much easier.
Miałem naprawdę dużo pracy ze styropianem .. Myślę, że ze styrodurem byłoby dużo łatwiej.

I've cut a place for the large tree and made other trees using wine corks and wire.
Wyciąłem miejsce dla dużego drzewa i zrobiłem pozostałe drzewka używając korków do wina i drutu. 

For the trees I've used paper towels soaked with a mix of white PVA glue and water.

Do drzewek użyłem ręczników papierowych nasączonych mieszaniną białego kleju PVA i wody. 

I've glued the big tree to the base, coated the whole base with sand and basecoated it (omitting the lake) with a reddish brown colour.

Przykleiłem duże drzewo do podłoża, pokryłem całą makietę piaskiem i spodkładowałem ją (pomijając jezioro) rudo-brązowym kolorem.

 I've added rocks to the base.
 Dodałem kamienie do podłoża.

I've painted the trees and the rocks black then used some dark wash on the base. I've also painted the lake with dark metallic blue Humbrol enamel (a base for the water effect).

Pomalowałem drzewka i skały na czarno i użyłem nieco ciemnego wash'a na podłożu. Pomalowałem również jeziorko ciemną metaliczną niebieską emalią Humbrol (podstawa do efektu wody).

I've drybrushed the base with some grey colour, painted the trees and the rocks (here you can see how) and sprinkled white sand on the path. I've also used the water effect (Deluxe Materials Solid Water 50 ml), putting some special glossy flowers in while the lake was still wet.

Metodą suchego pędzla pomalowałem podłoże szarym kolorem, pomalowałem drzewka i skały (tu możecie zobaczyć jak) i nasypałem białego piasku na ścieżkę. Użyłem również efektu wody (Deluxe Materials Solid Water 50 ml), zanurzające w nim nieco specjalnych błyszczących kwiatów póki jezioro było mokre.

I've added grass, flowers, bushes, branches etc. The water effect was almost hard and dry after 24 hours. Later I've added another 50 ml.

Dodałem trawę, kwiaty, krzewy, gałęzie itp. Efekt wody był niemal twardy i suchy po 24 godzinach. Później dodałem jeszcze 50 ml.
