White Dwarf #120 review - Warhammer Quest Silver Tower

Are you still wondering about buying Warhammer Quest Silver Tower? Are you interested in the game itself or maybe in the miniatures? Next week I will try to present a personal review of this set here on TFH, but today I’m going to give you a closer look at it by reviewing the White Dwarf #120, entirely devoted to Warhammer Quest Silver Tower.

The Quest..

On Saturday I took part in the celebrations of the 4th anniversary of Games Workshop: Warsaw, mainly to see the contents of the new Warhammer Quest Silver Tower boxed game. Just before leaving home I found out that there will be the Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40k hero painting competition, so I brought my Chaos Daemons Changeling of Tzeentch and to my happy surprise I took the second place! (https://www.facebook.com/GWWarsaw/posts/1239007872783656). Unfortunately, they did a very small picture of the Changeling, but you can see better ones on CoolMiniOrNot or here and here on TFH.

W sobotę wziąłem udział w obchodach czwartej rocznicy Games Workshop: Warszawa, głównie by zobaczyć zawartość nowej gry Warhammer Quest Silver Tower.

War-torn landscape.. Wojenny krajobraz.. WiP

I wanted to make a simple and realistic Warhammer 40k urban base but as usually I got carried away =)

Chciałem zrobić prostą i realistyczną podstawkę miejską do Warhammera 40k, ale jak zwykle mnie poniosło =)

The base is still WiP because I'm waiting for some "special" stuff to enhance it even more. What do you think? Is it realistic enough? More photos below.

Podstawka jest wciąż WiP, bo ciągle czekam na "specjalne" materiały, by ją jeszcze ulepszyć. Co o niej myślicie? Jest wystarczająco realistyczna? Więcej zdjęć poniżej.

Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy XX - Magia Carnival of Blog's Minis XX - Magic

Trwa XX edycja Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego, ogłoszona na blogu Codename: Wargaming, zaś motywem przewodnim jest Magia.

For non polish visitors I hasten to explain that Carnival of Blog's Minis is an initiative of polish miniatures bloggers. The idea is based on a monthly challenges on various topics about miniatures etc. This month's theme is Magic.

Night Goblins Shamans have a cool life - there's nothing better than to steal some Big Boss's rags to make a kind of a scarecrow and prance between other Goblins giving mushrooms away.. Shaman gathered a few toadstools and some soil with bugs, well only one in fact, but extremely nasty =) Night Goblins mushrooms have many different properties and they do not differ much from the specialties of other "nations". The Gummi Bears have the Gummiberry Juice, the Smurfs have pi..ed off Gargamel and the Gauls brew magical potion that gives them superhuman strength. Among Shaman mushrooms is also the famous Mad Cap for the more "spinned" goblins =) I will write about them, but some other time .. How do you like the Shaman? More photos below.

From the darkest tunnels they came.. 2 Z najmroczniejszych tuneli przybyli..

Night Goblins are springing like mushrooms after the rain.. Shaman gathered a few toadstools and some soil with bugs =)

Nocne Gobliny jak grzyby po deszczu rosną.. Szaman kilka muchomorów nazbierał i trochę ziemi z robalami =)
