Review & Unboxing: Wood Elves / Wanderers WardancersWarheim: Tancerze Wojny

Due to bad luck, I wasn't able to participate in this year's Warheim Fantasy Skirmish tournament but that doesn't mean I stopped recruiting models for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad. Today I want to show you 3 new miniatures - the Wardancers of Loec. Before the destruction of the Old World, those were the models of Wardancer Lord (in the middle) and Wardancers Command Group (including the musician - drummer). In Age of Sigmar Wanderers army, they are still Wardancers and their leader is called the Bladesinger (in the middle). One won't be able to buy Wardancers in normal retail, so you need to "hunt" for them on internet auctions and usually they end up very expensive. Those Wardancers are made of metal and there are square base for them. You might think that those are quite old sculptures but the details are of a very good quality. Especially the Wardancer Lord makes a good impression and all of them have "scenic" poses and bases so I don't think there is a need for any kind of conversion. My rating: 5/6 More photos below.

W tym roku przez złośliwość losu nie udało mi się wziąć udziału w turnieju Warheim Fantasy Skirmish, ale to nie znaczy, że rezygnuję z uzupełniania mojej drużyny Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren. Dzisiaj przedstawiam Wam zatem kolejnych rekrutów - 3 Tancerzy Wojny Loeca (Wardancers). Przed destrukcją Starego Świata były to modele Lorda Tancerza Wojny (po środku) oraz Grupy Dowodzenia Tancerzy Wojny (w tym muzyk - bębniarz). W Age of Sigmar figurki są w armii Wędrowców (Wanderers) również Tancerzami Wojny, a dowodzi nimi Bladesinger (po środku).  Tancerzy Wojny nie dostaniemy już w zwkłej sprzedaży, więc trzeba na nie "polować" na portalach aukcyjnych, a ceny potrafią być naprawdę wysokie.  Tancerze Wojny są metalowi, z dołączonymi kwadratowymi podstawkami. Mimo że są to dość staromodne już rzeźby, detale figurek są wyraźne. Szczególnie Lord Tancerz Wojny wciąż robi naprawdę dobre wrażenie, a wszystkie figurki mają "sceniczne" pozy i podstawki przez co nie ma potrzeby dokonywanie jakichkolwiek konwersji. Exhibit: Orion, King in the Woods display AoS: Avatar of the Hunt

Recently I showed you photos of Orion, King in the Woods, the everlasting Lord of Athel Loren and co-ruler of the Wood Elves (in Age of Sigmar he is Avatar of the Hunt) with his Hounds and today I want to show you a small diorama with Orion. Here you can see how I made the plinth using fire (I burned it), but it was quite a difficult task to mount Orion and his original base on it. I managed to do it so he could be easily removed from the plinth and put elsewhere. Orion's base can be connected to the plinth with one "click" due to the use of neodymium magnets. Also, his original base outline is almost invisible when connected to the plinth =) I hope you like my autumn King in the Woods and that his photos are of good enough quality. Niedawno pokazałem Wam zdjęcia Oriona, Króla Kniei, wiecznego Lorda Athel Loren i współwładcę Leśnych Elfów (w Age of Sigmar to Avatar of the Hunt) wraz z Ogarami na makiecie, zaś dzisiaj przygotowałem dla Was małą dioramę z Orionem w roli głównej. Tutaj możecie zobaczyć jak przy użyciu ognia robiłem piedestał (plint), natomiast pewną trudnością było takie zamontowanie na nim Oriona, by dało się go wraz z klasyczną podstawką łatwo "odczepić" i ustawić w innym "terenie". Podstawkę udało mi się niemal niezauważalnie połączyć z plintem, a całość doskonale się trzyma na magnesach neodymowych. Można zatem powiedzieć, że Orion wchodzi na piedestał z lekkim "kliknięciem" =) Mam nadzieję, że mój jesienny Król Kniei Wam się podoba i jakość zdjęć jest wystarczająca =) Serdecznie zachęcam przy tym do zagłosowania na Oriona na CoolMiniOrNot.com tutaj =) Więcej zdjęć Oriona poniżej.

Project: Orion, King in the Woods! Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy #50 - MONSTER!

Trwa 50 edycja Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego, ogłoszona na łamach bloga Fantasy w Miniaturze, zaś motywem przewodnim jest "MONSTER!".

Today I will show you a real monster. Orion, King in the Woods, is the everlasting Lord of Athel Loren and co-ruler of the Wood Elves (in Age of Sigmar he is Avatar of the Hunt). His powerful appearance alone inspires respect and arouses terror. In combat, Orion is the real Avatar of the elven god of the hunt - Kurnous. When Orion leads his Wild Hunt to fight, he is always accompanied by a pack of savage Hounds. There are many reasons why Orion is a monster for me. First of all, I painted him for more than 3 years! I needed Orion for my display on Armies on Parade in 2015 (Orion's Ritual) and since then I didn't find the time to really finish him. Painting Orion was also very difficult because I didn't want to change too much of how I originally painted him and at the same time I wanted Orion to really stand out in my Wood Elves army. As a result, Orion combines many styles and levels of painting, while maintaining consistency with the rest of my autumn Wood Elves. What's more, I really wanted Orion and his Hounds to stand on the existing bases and at the same time to fit Orion to the diorama, which I will show you very soon. Also, his bow (Hawk's Talon) wasn't looking good on Orion, so as you can see I decided to move it to a separate base. While I was painting him, It was really hard for me to capture my hard work on the photos and despite the fact that I'm absolutely pleased with the results, Orion still looks much better when you see him with your own eyes =) I hope you like him =) C&C are welcomed! W ramach 50 FKB pokażę Wam prawdziwego potwora. Orion, Król Kniei, to wieczny Lord Athel Loren i współwładca Leśnych Elfów (w Age of Sigmar to Avatar of the Hunt). Już sam jego potężny wygląd budzi grozę i szacunek, zaś w walce jest prawdziwym awatarem elfiego boga polowań - Kurnousa. Gdy Orion prowadzi Dziki Gon do walki, zawsze towarzyszy mu przy tym sfora potężnych Ogarów. Orion jest dla mnie potworem z wielu względów. Przede wszystkim malowałem go potwornie długo, bo aż 3 lata! Potrzebowałem go do mojej makiety na Armies on Parade w 2015 r. (Rytuał Oriona) i od tamtego czasu jakoś nigdy nie znalazłem czasu, by go tak naprawdę skończyć. Malowanie Oriona było również potwornie trudne, bo nie chciałem za bardzo naruszać tego, jak go pierwotnie pomalowałem, a jednocześnie chciałem, by stał się on wizytówką mojej armii Leśnych Elfów. W efekcie, Orion łączy wiele stylów i poziomów trudności malowania, przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu spójności z resztą mojej jesiennej armii Leśnych Elfów. Co więcej, bardzo zależało mi na tym, by pozostawić Oriona oraz Ogary na obecnych podstawkach, a jednocześnie dopasować go do dioramy, którą już niedługo Wam pokażę. Także jego łuk (Jastrzębi Szpon) zupełnie mi na Orionie nie pasował (w moim odczuciu za bardzo zasłaniał figurkę), więc jak widzicie postanowiłem przenieść go na osobną podstawkę. W trakcie malowania miałem też wielkie problemy, by uchwycić moją ciężką pracę na zdjęciach i mimo że ogólnie jestem całkiem zadowolony z efektu, to jednak Orion na żywo wygląda jeszcze lepiej =) Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba =) Komentarze i krytyka mile widziane! Exhibit: Wood Elves Araloth / AoS Wanderers Nomad Prince / Warheim FS: Wieczny Strażnik

I managed to maintain a good pace of painting so today I want to show you the last hero for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad - the Eternal Guard. Araloth miniature, the Lord of Talsyn and personal Champion of Queen Ariel, fits my squad perfectly. It's also very important that despite the death of the Old World there is still a place for him in Age of Sigmar Wanderers and Sylvaneth army as the Nomad Prince. The miniature is made of plastic and despite a few gaps between the elements, I just loved painting it! Initially, Araloth was to be completed on a lower level, but he seemed to demand special treatment and therefore painting him took me more time than I expected. Fortunately, I was only limited by the colours of the rest of my autumn Asrai =) I hope my effort has not gone to waste and that you will like this incarnation of the Nomad Prince =) P.S. Udało mi się utrzymać niezłe tempo malowania, więc zapraszam Was do obejrzenia Wiecznego Strażnika Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren - ostatniego bohatera do mojej drużyny Warheim Fantasy Skirmish. Przed destrukcją Starego Świata był to model Araloth'a, Lorda Talsyn i osobistego Czempiona Królowej Ariel, zaś w Age of Sigmar jest to Książe Koczowników (Nomad Prince) do armii Wędrowców i Sylvaneth.  Figurka jest plastikowa i mimo pewnych niedoróbek (kilka przerw między złożonymi elementami) malowało mi się ją wyśmienicie! Początkowo Araloth miał być ukończony na niższym poziomie, ale z Wiecznym Strażnikiem tak się po prostu nie dało. Każdy element Księcia Koczowników aż się prosił o specjalne potraktowanie i zabierał mi przez to więcej czasu niż zakładałem. Koniec końców ograniczyła mnie jedynie kolorystyka reszty moich jesiennych Asrai=) Mam nadzieję, że mój wysiłek nie poszedl na marne i to wcielenie Wiecznego Strażnika przypadnie Wam do gustu =) P.S. Co sądzicie o jego magicznym ostrzu z elementami non metallic metal? P.S.2. Exhibit: Wood Elves Waywatcher Lord / AoS Wanderers Waywatcher / Warheim FS: Strażnik Ścieżek

Today I want to show you a finished hero for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad - the Waywatcher. It used to be a Waywatcher Lord miniature before the destruction of the Old World and now it is just a Waywatcher miniature in Age of Sigmar Wanderers and Sylvaneth army. The miniature is made of metal and unfortunately, it was quite hard to work with it. I guess I managed to hide all imperfections, but I feel a little unsatisfied (at least as far as my Wood Elves Highborn is concerned). Surprisingly, painting the Waywatcher was different than usual so regular TFH visitors will surely notice a little different color scheme. I hope you like him =) More photos of the Waywatcher below.

Dzisiaj zapraszam Was do obejrzenia skończonego bohatera - Strażnika Ścieżek Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren do mojej drużyny Warheim Fantasy Skirmish. Przed destrukcją Starego Świata był to model Lorda Strażnika Ścieżek i również w Age of Sigmar figurka jest po prostu Strażnikiem Ścieżek do armii Wędrowców i Sylvaneth.  Figurka jest metalowa i niestety dość zdecydowanie opierała się obrabianiu. Myślę, że udało mi się odpowiednio zakryć wszystkie mankamenty rzeźby, ale w moim odczuciu i tak daleko jej do do np. mojego Szlachcica Leśnych Elfów.  Strażnika Ścieżek malowało mi się jakoś inaczej, więc stali bywalcy TFH pewnie zauważą delikatnie odmienną kolorystykę w stosunku do reszty moich jesiennych Asrai. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba =) Poniżej więcej zdjęć Strażnika Ścieżek.

Review & Unboxing: Stormcast Eternals Gryph-Hounds

The beginning of the year is always hard for me when it comes to having enough time for the hobby, but I'm really trying to paint at least a little everyday, so I will soon post something better on the blog. Today I made a review and unboxing of really cool miniatures from GW =)  The Gryph-Hounds set for the Stormcast Eternals army consists of 6 miniatures in three different designs. They are made of plastic components and require assembly. The individual elements fit together quite well, but you will need to fill in small gaps in some places. As far as details are concerned, they are really decent and clear. Also, there are not too many of them, so painting Gryph-Hounds should not be hard.  The set includes colorful information about Gryph-Hounds rules in Age of Sigmar and suggested paints.  The miniatures are very dynamic, and in my opinion they look very "noble". In the last photo (for comparison purposes) I have posted quite a static Gryph-Hound from the Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower (companion of Excelsior Warpriest).  My rating: 5/6 More photos below.

Przełom roku u mnie zawsze ciężki jeśli chodzi o czas na hobby, ale coś tam jeszcze wieczorami dłubię, więc niedługo wrzucę na bloga coś bardziej konkretnego. Tym czasem zapraszam na recenzję i unboxing naprawdę fajnych figurek od GW =) Zestaw Gryph-Hounds do armii Stormcast Eternals składa się z 6 figurek w trzech wzorach. Gryfki są plastikowe i kilkuelementowe, więc wymagają złożenia. Poszczególne elementy dość dobrze do siebie pasują, ale w niektórych miejscach potrzeba będzie zaszpachlować drobne szpary. Jeśli chodzi o detale, to są one naprawdę przyzwoite i wyraźne. Nie jest ich też za wiele, więc malowanie Gryfków powinno być bardzo łatwe.  W zestawie znajduje się również kolorowa informacja o zasadach Gryfków w Age of Sigmar oraz sugerowane do ich malowania farby. Figurki są bardzo dynamiczne, a w mojej ocenie mają też w sobie pewną "dostojność", co bardzo pozytywnie wpływa na ich klimat. Na ostatnim zdjęciu w celach porównawczych zamieściłem zaś dość statycznego Gryfka z zestawu Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower (towarzysz Excelsior Warpriest).  Moja ocena: 5/6 Więcej zdjęć poniżej.

Exhibit & Tutorial: It's crushing time! Czas coś zgnieść!

While preparing for Hussar 2017 I got an idea for a very funny base for my Night Goblins (Moonclan Grots) Shaman, Warboss and a certain headless unfortunate - Foot of Gork! Below you will also find a short tutorial for making this base and if you're curious how I made bases for those night goblins you can find a separate tutorial here. Przygotowując się na Hussara 2017 wpadłem na pomysł zabawnej podstawki dla mojego Szamana i Duża Szef Nocnych Goblinów (Moonclan Grots) oraz pewnego bezgłowego nieszczęśnika - Stopa Gorka! Na końcu posta znajdziecie również krótki poradnik robienia tej podstawki, a jeśli chcecie wiedzieć jak zrobiłem podstawki samym  goblinom to zapraszam tutaj. Exhibit & CMON: Ogroid Thaumaturge of Tzeentch - Diorg'O the Dice Master

Only few survived or at least retained their mind to tell about him, but there is no doubt that Diorg'O the Dice Master (Ogroid Thaumaturge of Tzeentch from Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower) is a truly powerful opponent. He combines the monstrous and wild power of the beast with impressive occult magic. His skin is covered with the signs of eldritch energy, that move in the rhythm of the beastly muscles. Ogroid's frightening prowess in combat is fueled by his rage, so that he can tear enemies apart with his bare hands or pierce them with his horns. Diorg'O's magical abilities are even more "disturbing" as he hurls flaming explosions that cover his victims in the vapors from which demonic shapes emerge.. Diorg'O is also highly valued by the Lord of Change, who gave him the K-six as a reward for battles won - a powerful artifact capable of changing the fate of every fight.. Painting Diorg'O was a real challenge for me (especially as far as time is concerned). I'm not sure if it is noticeable enough in the photos below, but by painting the Ogroid I not only gave him demonic muscles, but the top and the center of his back has lighter colours to reflect Diorg'O alignment to the light source and to emphasize the tense muscles of his shoulders. I also wanted a pretty big contrast, while still maintaining a smooth transition of colours. As suggested, I only added a few runes to the base, not wanting it to have too much focus. I hope that the base speaks more about the Ogroid's demonic nature and contrasts with the clean painting of this beast. I won't hide that I've tried to paint the best (or at least the most refined) Ogroid Thaumaturge of Tzeentch at this moment, but I will leave his evaluation to you and I warmly encourage you to vote for him on CoolMiniOrNot.com =) More photos below.

Niewielu przeżyło lub chociaż zachowało resztki rozumu, by móc o nim opowiedzieć, jednak nie ulega wątpliwości, że Mistrz Kości Diorg'O (Ogroid Thaumaturge Tzeentcha z Warhammer Quest Silver Tower ) to wyjątkowo potężny przeciwnik. Łączy on bowiem potworną i dziką siłę bestii z imponującymi mocami okultystycznymi. Jego skóra pokryta jest przy tym znakami tajemnej energii, które poruszają się w rytm napinanych przez bestię muskuł. Przerażająca skuteczność Ogroida w walce podsycana jest wściekłością, dzięki czemu gołymi rękami rozrywa wrogów lub przebija ich swymi rogami.  Jednak to dopiero magiczne zdolności Diorg'O są najbardziej "niepokojące".  Rzucane przez Taumaturga płomienne wybuchy spowijają ofiary w skrzących oparach, z których wynurzają się demoniczne kształty.. Diorg'O cieszy się również wielką łaską Pana Zmian, który w nagrodę za wygrane przez niego bitwy ofiarował Ogroidowi K-szóstkę - potężny artefakt zdolny zmienić losy każdej potyczki.. Malowanie Diorg'O było dla mnie nie lada wyzwaniem (zwłaszcza czasowym). Nie wiem przy tym czy dość dobrze widać to na zdjęciach, ale malując Ogroida nie tylko nadałem mu demonicznego umięśnienia, ale górze i centralnej części jego grzbietu dałem jaśniejsze kolory, by odzwierciedlić jego ułożenie względem źródła światła i uwypuklić napięte mięśnie ramion. Bardzo zależało mi też na dość dużym kontraście, przy zachowaniu płynnego przejścia kolorów. Podstawkę (zgodnie z sugestią) uzupełniłem tylko o kilka runów, nie chcąc, by skupiała na sobie za dużo uwagi. Mam przy tym nadzieję, że mówi ona  coś więcej o jego demonicznej naturze i kontrastuje z czystym malowaniem tej bestii. Nie ukrywam, że podjąłem próbę pomalowania najlepszego na tę chwilę (a przynajmniej najbardziej dopracowanego) Ogroid Thaumaturge Tzeentcha, ale ocenę czy mi się udało pozostawiam i dlatego gorąco zachęcam do głosowania na niego na CoolMiniOrNot.com =) Więcej zdjęć w rozwinięciu posta.

HUSSAR 2017 miniature painting competition (video)

This was a Fantastic Miniature Weekend with Hussar 2017 (the 8th edition of great Polish miniature painting competition in Warsaw). There were more then 160 entries this year and you can find the official results here. Paweł Makuch won the Grand Prix with his bust "Forest Troll", which I put on the first picture in the movie below. Congratulations to the winners and every participant! To był Fantastyczny Figurkowy Weekend z 8 edycją konkursu malarskiego Hussar 2017 w Warszawie! W tym roku znowu pobity został rekord, gdyż zgłoszonych zostało ponad 160 prac, a oficjalne wyniki możecie zobaczyć tutaj. Grand Prix i główna nagroda zasłużenie powędrowały do Pawła Makucha, za jego popiersie "Forest Troll", które w poniższym filmiku umieściłem jako pierwsze.  Poziom prac był generalnie bardzo wysoki, więc moim zdaniem trochę dziwi, że wśród osób nagrodzonych było zbyt wiele "o jakież zaskoczenie.." i "a nie mówiłem..", zamiast "zasłużona wygrana!". Komentarz do głosów na sali podczas wręczania nagród pozostawiam jednak Wam =) Gratuluję zwycięzcom, wyróżnionym osobom oraz wszystkim uczestnikom! Project: Ogroid Thaumaturge of Tzeentch #2 - Eye of Tzeentch base

Since I've almost finished painting Ogroid Thaumaturge of Tzeentch  from Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower I've made this base for him. Tzeentch models are usually painted to look very 'clean' therefore we often forget that they are still demonic and cruel beings. Having that in mind I wanted to make a base that tells something more about Ogroid nature and that contrasts well with the miniature. The base is still WiP because only after I put the Ogroid miniature on it I will be able to tell if everything is fine. However I kindly ask you to comment if you know anything that can improve this base =)

Ponieważ prawie skończyłem malować Ogroid Thaumaturge Tzeentcha  z Warhammer Quest Silver Tower,  przygotowałem dla niego taką oto podstawkę. Biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że Tzeentchowcy zazwyczaj są malowani bardzo "czysto", często zapominamy, że to wciąż są demoniczne i okrutne istoty. Z tego względu chciałem, by podstawka Ogroida mówiła coś więcej o jego naturze i kontrastowała z czystym malowaniem tej bestii. Podstawka jest jeszcze WiP, bo dopiero po osadzeniu na niej Ogroida będę mógł z pewnością stwierdzić czy czegoś jej jeszcze brakuje. Niemniej jednak proszę Was o konstruktywne komentarze, co można w niej ulepszyć =)

Today I want to show you the finished Wood Elves Standard Bearer conversion (Wanderers in Age of Sigmar) for my Warheim Fantasy Skirmish Athel Loren squad. This conversion was pretty simple - I attached the Glade Guard legs to the Wild Rider Standard Bearer torso. I painted him in the same autumn, vivid colours as my Wood Elves. I'm quite happy with how I painted those 2 pictures of Tree Spirits, but I don't know if it wouldn't be better if I just painted a sign of a Stag. Dzisiaj zapraszam Was do obejrzenia konwersji Chorążego Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren do mojej drużyny Warheim Fantasy Skirmish. W Age of Sigmar występuje on w armii Wędrowców. Konwersja ta jest stosunkowo prosta - połączyłem dół Strażnika Polany z górą Jeźdźca Dzikiego Gonu dzierżącego sztandar. Pomalowałem go w jesiennych, żywych kolorach, moich Leśnych Elfów. Jeśli chodzi o sam sztandar to mam mieszane uczucia. Z jednej strony jestem zadowolony z namalowanych przeze mnie 2 obrazków przedstawiających Leśne Zjawy, ale z drugiej nie wiem czym nie lepiej byłoby jednak poprzestać na jakimś znaku np. przedstawiającym jelenia. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba taki jaki jest =)  Więcej zdjęć poniżej:

Review & Unboxing: Wood Elves Drycha / Sylvaneth Branchwraith Warheim: Drycha

There were some plastic and metal miniatures on the blog lately, so it's high time for some finecast =) While preparing for Warheim Fantasy Skirmish tournament in October I added another miniature for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad. She used to be the Dryad Drycha miniature before the destruction of the Old World, but since there is a new Drycha miniature now it is just a Branchwraith miniature in Age of Sigmar Sylvaneth army. The miniature is made of finecast, so I thought there will be some troubles with it, but I was very kindly surprised =) There is a base and 2 elements in the box that doesn't require too much work. All elements fit together perfectly and are of a very good quality. I didn't find any damages. The miniature is very dynamic and almost screams for some special attention as far as basing is concerned - I've started making a special base for her =) My rating: 6/6 More photos below:

Były plastiki, potem metale, więc najwyższy czas na coś z finecastu =) W ramach przygotowań do wrześniowego turnieju Warheim Fantasy Skirmish  przedstawiam Wam kolejny nabytek do mojej drużyny Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren. Przed destrukcją Starego Świata była to Driada Drycha, zaś w związku z nowym modelem Drychy w Age of Sigmar figurka ta to Konarozjawa do armii Sylvaneth Co prawda kiedyś zrobiłem już konwersję Konarozjawy, ale i tak postanowiłem mieć tę właściwą =) Figurka jest z finecastu, więc podejrzewałem, że będą z nią pewne problemy, ale o dziwo pozytywnie mnie zaskoczyła =) Zestaw składa się z podstawki i 2 elementów, które nie wymagają jakiejś specjalnej obróbki. Wszystkie elementy świetnie do siebie pasują. Detale są naprawdę świetne i nie znalazłem żadnych uszkodzeń. Figurka jest bardzo dynamiczna i aż prosi się o coś więcej niż tylko prostą podstawkę, a już jestem w trakcie tego dodatkowego działania =) Moja ocena: 6/6 Więcej zdjęć poniżej:

Review & Unboxing: Wood Elves Waywatcher Lord / Wanderers WaywatcherWarheim: Strażnik Ścieżek

The preparations  for Warheim Fantasy Skirmish tournament in October are advancing so I will show you another hero for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad - the Waywatcher. It used to be a Waywatcher Lord miniature before the destruction of the Old World and now it is just a Waywatcher miniature in Age of Sigmar Wanderers and Sylvaneth army. This time the miniature is made of metal. There is also a square base for him. There are 3 elements in the box that require some cut offs. All elements fit together very well and despite quite an old sculpture they are of a good quality. The miniature's position is very "scenic" and there is also a Spite there =) I don't think there is a need for any kind of conversion. My rating: 5/6 More photos below. Przygotowania do wrześniowego turnieju Warheim Fantasy Skirmish idą pełną parą, więc dzisiaj przedstawiam Wam kolejny nabytek do mojej drużyny Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren - postać bohatera - Strażnika Ścieżek. Przed destrukcją Starego Świata był to model Lorda Strażnika Ścieżek i również w Age of Sigmar figurka jest po prostu Strażnikiem Ścieżek (Waywatcher) do armii Wędrowców i Sylvaneth.  Tym razem figurka jest metalowa, z dołączoną kwadratową podstawką. Zestaw składa się z 3 elementów, które wymagają odcięcia nadmiarowego metalu.  Wszystkie elementy świetnie do siebie pasują. Mimo że to dość klasyczna już rzeźba, detale są wyraźne. Figurka ma bardzo "sceniczną" pozę i znalazło się tam też miejsce dla  duszka =) Myślę, że nie ma potrzeby na dokonywanie jakichkolwiek konwersji. Moja ocena: 5/6 Więcej zdjęć poniżej. Review & Unboxing: Wood Elves Araloth / Wandererers Nomad Prince Warheim: Wieczny Strażnik Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren

I've started preparations for Warheim Fantasy Skirmish tournament in October so I had to add another hero to my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad - the Eternal Guard. Araloth miniature, the Lord of Talsyn and personal Champion of Queen Ariel, fits my squad perfectly. It's also very important that despite the death of the Old World there is still a place for him in Age of Sigmar Wanderers and Sylvaneth army as the Nomad Prince. The miniature is made of plastic. There is also a round base for him. All elements fit together and are very sharp and of a very good quality. There is no scenic base inside, but the miniature's position is very "scenic". Therefore, I don't think there is a need for any kind of conversion. My rating: 5+/6 (I hope it will be even better after I painted him =)) More photos below. Rozpocząłem przygotowania do wrześniowego turnieju Warheim Fantasy Skirmish, więc czas najwyższy uzupełnić moją drużynę Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren o postać bohatera - Wiecznego Strażnika. Konkurencji nie było, bo figurka Araloth'a, Lorda Talsyn i osobistego Czempiona Królowej Ariel, pasuje perfekcyjnie. Co bardzo istotne, mimo destrukcji Starego Świata, w Age of Sigmar również znalazło się dla niego miejsce, jako Księcia Koczowników do armii Wędrowców i Sylvaneth.  Zestaw jest plastikowy i zawiera także okrągłą podstawkę. Wszystkie elementy świetnie do siebie pasują. Detale są wyraźne i bardzo dobrej jakości. W zestawie nie ma scenicznej podstawki, ale pozycja Księcia sama w sobie jest bardzo "sceniczna". Myślę, że nie ma potrzeby na dokonywanie jakichś konwersji. Moja ocena: 5+/6 (mam nadzieję, że nie zapeszę przed malowaniem =)) Więcej zdjęć poniżej. I've almost finished painting Ogroid Thaumaturge of Tzeentch  from Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. Tell me what you think =) P.S. I hope that now I will have more time to paint and post on this blog..

Niemal skończyłem malować Ogroid Thaumaturge Tzeentcha  z Warhammer Quest Silver Tower. Dajcie znać co o nim sądzicie =)  P.S. Może uda mi się teraz znaleźć więcej czasu na malowanie i bloga..

Project: Tzeentch Familiars #4 - Pug

The fourth and the last (after Slop, Tweak and Blot) Familiar of Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch is done. His name is Pug - the asquisitive and pilferer imp with a moonlike visage. He's a very light-fingered critter who won't stop at nothing to get all shiny things that catch his evil eyes. He is always lurking for unwary creatures and heroes trapped inside the Silver Tower corridors. His latest trophy is absolutely unique and his Master the Gaunt Summoner will generously reward him for it... In my opinion Pug miniature has the worst sculpture of all Familiars (mainly the moonlike face) so I painted him last. I've tried to give his face a milder expression and to distract the attention towards the checkers, the mask and the blade. I hope you like him =) Now I'm going to make bases and the family photo for all of them =) More photos below.

Czwarty i ostatni (po Slopie, Tweaku i Blocie) z Familiarsów Gaunt Summonera Tzeentcha jest gotowy. Przed Wami Pug -  wiecznie zachłanny chcochlikowaty złodziejaszek o księżycowym obliczu. To stworzenie o wyjątkowo lepkich palcach nie cofnie się przed niczym, by zdobyć świecidełka, które wpadną mu w jego złośliwe oczka. Przemierza on korytarze Srebrnej Wieży, czyhając na chwilę nieuwagi uwięzionych w niej stworzeń i poszukiwaczy przygód. Jego najnowsza zdobycz to prawdziwy unikat, za którą jego Pan Gaunt Summoner na pewno go hojnie wynagrodzi...  Figurka Puga jest moim zdaniem najsłabsza z Familiarsów, dlatego też malowałem go na końcu. Wszystko przez moim zdaniem nieudaną rzeźbę księżycowej twarzy. Dlatego też postarałem się nadać jej nieco łagodniejszego wyrazu i dodatkami (szachownica, maska, ostrze) odciągnąć od niej uwagę. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba =) Teraz zabieram się za podstawki i zdjęcie grupowe =) Więcej zdjęć poniżej.
